New Features:
Many new features have been added to ShopSite 9.0 (Free shipping coupons, cart upsell, improved search, and more). For a full breakdown of the new features, you may go to:

Upgrade Issues:
There are a few upgrade issues to be aware of before upgrading to this latest release:
* The free shipping coupon requires a few configuration changes in the backoffice: You have to enable at least the United States as a valid free shipping country under: Commerce Setup -> State and Country. You also have to configure shipping to allow it under: Commerce Setup -> Shipping near the bottom of the page, and choose an existing shipping option to be used for free shipping when the coupon is applied.
* If you are using a custom cart template, you will have to add support for the new cross-sell / upsell features that can appear in the cart. There are specific tags that go in the template, as well as two new "DEFINE" sections to define how these products will appear. You can copy the sc_default cart template to a custom one and view the code to see the latest changes/tags.
* ShopSite's new feature to define product groups for quantity based discounting requires you to first create these groups under "Merchandising". Note that if customers add the same product multiple times (i.e. separate line items in the cart) that the quantity based discount will not be applied unless that specific product is in its own group.
* The new built-in US Postal Service realtime rates can not be used in conjunction with UPS or FedEx rates that are built into ShopSite. Our add-on modules for FedEx and/or the US Postal Service can be used in combination with UPS however.
Upgrade Pricing:
This upgrade is free of charge to any store that is leasing the ShopSite software.
If you own a ShopSite license, the one time upgrade fee is $125 for Manager and $325 for Pro.
