How about a blog entry on the best merchant service providers. It seems like a lot of us get raked over the coals with fees and rising rates as it’s hard to know just where to look and without dependable knowledge we stay in the same rut of high credit card costs.

Yes, Authorize.net’s CIM system is quite good. It allows you to off-load PCI as the card numbers are only kept on the Auth.net end, and you use tokens to reference the card. I know ShopSite is looking to add CIM integration in the future. Currently it is not supported.

Was just today speaking with a colleague about PCI compliancy. They pointed to Authorize and the Customer Information Manager (CIM). It sounds most interesting and perhaps an easy way to take care of the dreaded compliancy issues. Was interested in your thoughts.
